Stop buying leads! Have you ever bought leads to build your home based business or network marketing business? If you have, you know that buying leads and calling the list is not something you would recommend highly. People are desperate to build their home business and will try almost anything to make it work.

Buying leads in my opinion, is a complete waste of time and money. When I have bought and called leads, the people from the leads list had been called so many times that they were quite upset. Quite a few of the leads were wrong numbers, and you will get hung up on more than a few times. My advice - stop buying leads.

Did you know that lead lists are sold over and over? Now you are also competing with many other home business entrepreneurs who bought the very same leads! This is exactly why you will hear this when you call the leads you just purchased - " you are the fifth person that has called me today ".

If you were lucky you were the fifth, more than likely you were the 7th, 8th or 9th person that called that very same lead.

Why do people buy leads? People want to have financial freedom, time freedom, security in case they lose their job or get downsized and will try buying leads to build their home business. Some people may have some success with buying leads, but the industry standard is 3 sales for every 100 leads called and most people do worse than better.

I have never ever met anyone that has met the industry standard of 3%!!

Most everyone knows that their job will not get them rich or give them the financial freedom they are looking for. They turn to a home based business in hopes of achieving the American dream. If anyone tells you will get rich quick, do not join up with them as building your home business takes a lot of time and effort.

Do a Google search for leads and you will soon find out that leads are very expensive, and when you add the time it takes to call these leads you will understand - stop buying leads. OK, I will stop buying leads. What do I do to build my home bases business? How do I get customers?

Buy customers instead of buying leads.

Buying customers is a simple concept that works. Imagine the company you are with does all the advertising to attract customers. They run ads on television and the radio, plus use other forms of the media to attract cutomers. The person see the ads and orders products, this is a true customer because they are only interested in the product and not the business opportunity.

Buying customers is simply that, you have the ability to buy that customer and have all future orders from the customers you purchased. This is like an arrow going straight to the bullseye. No more buying leads to find customers, simply buy the customer, see the get started tab here.

This will save you time, money and lower your stress.

Let's say you buy leads and get a customer, have you ever considered the cost of getting the customer. How much time did you spend on the phone? How much did you spend on leads?

It can be quite high and once you realize this, you may take a serious look at buying customers, not leads.
